Using Chat GPT? Check for these 5 things before you post

I love AI and have absolutely no problem with people using it to help create their content.

But if you want your content to REALLY connect with your audience, not just have them wondering, “Where have I heard that before?”, a little edit & tweak goes a long way.

🚨Check for these (pretty obvious) Chat GPT flags before you hit post:

1. 🚩“In today’s fast-paced world…”

AI loves this opener. Your audience? Not so much. Cut it and start with something YOU would actually say.

2. 🚩The em dash obsession — yes, this one.

You can keep it if it’s your style, but if it’s not… swap it for punctuation you’d normally use.

3. 🚩🚀 The rocket emoji.

Unless you are ACTUALLY launching something into space, go for emojis that match YOUR personal vibe.

4. 🚩Generic phrases like “unlock your potential” or “empower your journey.”

Helpful? Maybe. Inspiring? Not really. Say it to your audience the same way you’d say it to your bestie in real life.

5. 🚩Overly polished tone.

AI can make things sound a bit TOO perfect. You want to sprinkle in your quirks & personality, add an inside joke here and there or reference a book, movie or show you’re obsessed with. That peek into your personality is a BIG part of why your audience loves you.

AI is a great starting point, but YOUR voice is the reason people follow you.

Use the tool! Just don’t lose yourself in the process 💗
