Here's how to stop feeling chained to your inbox

For most business owners, email feels like a never-ending to-do list.

Constantly checking, replying, and chasing up messages can drain your time and energy—especially when you’re trying to grow your business.

You don’t have to be glued to your inbox to stay on top of things. A few simple tweaks can save HOURS every week and still keep your clients happy.

Here are three ways to free yourself from inbox overwhelm:

📌 Set Clear Expectations

Add an auto-reply or a note in your email signature letting people know your response time. (Example: “I check emails twice a day and aim to respond within 24 hours.”) Most people will happily wait if they know when to expect a reply.

📌 Use Template Responses

If you find yourself writing the same type of emails over and over, save time by creating email templates. This makes it super easy to reply quickly while still keeping things personal.

📌 Batch Your Emails

Instead of checking your inbox all day, set 1-2 dedicated times to respond to emails. This keeps you focused and prevents you from constantly switching between tasks.
